Regno Unito e 'Irlanda
Ad eccezione del Regno Unito e dell'Irlanda che richiedono slate per 7 secondi, seguiti da 3 secondi di nero come pre-roll, lo slate deve contenere le seguenti informazioni:

Video Levels
I livelli video dovranno essere conformi ai valori raccomandati dalle normative ITU BT.709 e
EBU R103-2000:
Luma = Level 16-235 (not RGB 0-255 level), equivalent to 0% - 100% or
0mV - 700mV. Chroma = Level 16-240, equivalent to maximum 100% RGB.
Tutti i contenuti devono essere forniti in modalità interlacciata con il semiquadro superiore upper e first field dominante, il contenuto dovrà essere privo, per l’intera durata, di artefatti video quali: dropout, glitch, blocking, problemi causati dal l’interlacciamento o aliasing troppo evidente al fine di rispettare gli standard qualitativi per l’emissione TV.
Parametri Audio
Salvo diverse indicazioni, il livello Audio True Peak non deve superare -1dBTP per Loudness (-23LUFS/-24LKFS) e Peak (-10dBFS) mixes.
L’audio dovrà essere privo di distorsioni, glitch, dropout e sibili eccessivi ed essere in fase ed in sincronia con il video.
Safe Area
Si prega di assicurarsi che Grafiche, Titoli e Testi in sovraimpressione siano privi di errori grammaticali e/o di battitura, e che siano all'interno delle relative Safe area, come previsto dalla normativa EBU R95-2017.
