HD AVC-Intra Export Guide - Final Cut Pro X – Centro de soporte Peach Connect

Please refer to the relevant Peach Connect Technical Specification for full details of the file requirements. This includes information regarding file layout, video and audio levels and frame rate.

This document is intended as a guide only for the export of content from Final Cut Pro X. Suppliers should perform their own encoding tests and quality control to verify final settings achieve the required specification and level of quality.

The encoding process and final quality of files remain the responsibility of the supplier. Peach cannot accept liability for incorrect or low-quality encoding.

Project Set Up

Please ensure the Final Cut Pro X Project is set correctly before beginning the export process. HD export options are only available within an HD project. Project Settings will determine the definition, frame rate and field order of the exported file.

Project Settings

Select	The Final Sequence
In Inspector Window	Modify
Video	1080i HD
Resolution	1920x1080
Rate	25ior29.97ias required
Rendering	Apple ProRes 422 or higher (This is not the final export Codec)
Audio	Stereo
Sample Rate	48kHz
Click	OK

Optimize Output

To ensure the highest quality when exporting the file check the sequence is set to use optimised media to create the shared file.

Select	The Final Sequence
In Inspector Window	Modify
Select	Optimized/Original

Export Sequence

Select	The Final Sequence
Select	File, Share, Master File
Select	Settings
Format	MXF
Video codec	AVC-Intra (Class 100)
Roles as	Multitrack MXF File
Audio Output settings can differ depending on the timeline set up
Set Audio Channel Output to	Stereo if the timeline consists of Stereo Tracks
Or
Click Add Audio Track	If the timeline consists of Mono Tracks
Set Audio Channel Output to	Mono for both channels
Click	Next

Save As

Save As	Name File(Should match Version ID)
Choose	File Location
Click	Saveto Export File

Please note

Some sequences may require a Video Limiter or Broadcast Safe filter to be applied before export to ensure Chrominance and Luminance levels are within specified limits.

Please ensure Audio levels are set correctly before beginning the export process.
