What is a Health Warning (Mention Sanitaire) in French Adverts?

A Health Warning (Mention Sanitaire in French) is a legal text (supers) which must be displayed on French adverts regarding Food & Drinks, Gambling or Automobiles.

All spots which do not include a Health Warning shall be using the following:

Here are the different French Health Warnings:

Food

A Cinq fruits - Pour votre santé, mangez au moins cinq fruits et légumes par jour. www.mangerbouger.fr

B Activité - Pour votre santé, pratiquez une activité physique régulière. www.mangerbouger.fr

C Trop gras - Pour votre santé, évitez de manger trop gras, trop sucré, trop salé. www.mangerbouger.fr

D Grignoter - Pour votre santé, évitez de grignoter entre les repas. www.mangerbouger.fr

Food for babies

E Grignoter bébé - Apprenez à votre enfant à ne pas grignoter entre les repas. www.mangerbouger.fr

F Bouger jouer bébé - Bouger, jouer est indispensable au développement de votre enfant. www.mangerbouger.fr

G Eau bébé - En plus du lait, l'eau est la seule boisson indispensable. www.mangerbouger.fr

Food for children

Gambling

Gambling is a little different as there is only one health warning which must be displayed on all gambling adverts.

Either inside of a yellow background box at the bottom of the screen (see text below):
