A PUB ID is a unique code for TV Ads in France.
As of the 2nd of June 2025, it will be replaced by the new IDcrea.
It was created by the ARPP which takes care of Clearance for TV Ads in France.
The format of the PUB ID is a follows...
FR_Agency_Advertiser_Product_Version_Duration_F
Example:
FR_ABCD_EFGH_IJKL_0001_030_F
FR = France
Agency = 4 character code for the Agency
Advertiser = 4 character code for the Advertiser
Product = 4 character code for the Product
Version = 4 digits for the version number
Duration = 3 digits for the duration in seconds
F = Fixed (alternatively it can be D for Dynamic)
Please note: Once a Pub ID is associated with an ad, that Pub ID cannot be reused for another ad. If changes are made to the ad and it needs to be delivered again, a new Pub ID is required.
