How can I take a screenshot ?

You might need to send us a screenshot from time to time, whether via email or via our chat, in order for us to help you troubleshoot. Here is how to take a screen shot:

If you are using a Mac:

• Press and hold these three keys together: Command + Shift + 4
• Select the portion of the screen you are looking to capture
• Click to take the screenshot
• A miniature of your screenshot will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen
• Click on the miniature
• Press the keys Command + C to save the screenshot to your clipboard
• Click Done

You can now paste the screenshot into your email or even straight into your conversation on Chat by simply pressing the keys Command + V (or right-click paste).

If you are using a PC:

• Click on the Windows Start menu 
• Search for Snipping Tool 

• Select New to take a screenshot
• Drag the rectangle over the area you are looking to capture
• Click to take the screenshot
• The screenshot is automatically copied to your clipboard

You can now paste the screenshot into your email or even straight into your conversation on Chat by simply pressing the keys Ctrl + V (or right-click paste).
