Quality Control (QC) - Luma/Gamut (Luminance)

Issue

The luminance level of the file is outside of the accepted parameters.

Please check the Peach Connect File Specifications required for the region and Ad type you are trying to upload.

Description

Luminance refers to the brightness of the Video. If the brightness is too high or too low television screens will not be able to display the image correctly and there will be distortion.

Fix

The file should be re-exported from the Edit Suite with a Broadcaster Filter or similar applied to the timeline or on export.

Note

The Luminance is measured according to the EBU R103 specification.

Luma = Level 16-235 (not RGB 0-255 level), equivalent to 0% - 100% or 0mV - 700mV
