Quality Control (QC) - Frame Rate

Issue

The Frame Rate of the file is incorrect.

Description

The frame rate is the number of images displayed per second and is measure in frames per second (fps).

Fix

The file needs to be standards converted/frame rate converted from one frame rate to another.

This can be done by re-exporting the file from your edit suite using the correct export settings.

Our Peach Connect Export Guides can help you ensure your settings are correct when exporting files.

Please be aware that standards conversion can cause artefacts such as repeat frames or ghosting, and the quality of the standards conversion can differ depending on the software used.

Please always check the quality of the content after adjusting the frame rate.

Peach Connect accepted TV frame rates are 25fps & 29.97fps
