Hello,
your preset, as well as you show here is set to start at TC 09:59:50:00. Is that correct when no pre-roll is present?
Thanks
Hi Jan,
This is based on a UK file layout which includes a 10 sec slate.
However, technically a specific start TC is not needed or checked by Peach so is irrelevant.
What is important is that the duration is correct and frame accurate.
Hello,
I've used your Adobe preset for ENcoder (awesome, thank you) however when uploading to the Automatic QC, the .mxf file is failing, stating that there is no video header, and the frame count is 2000.000. I have triple-checked all my settings, the ad length, slate time etc, and everything appears to be correct. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what's going wrong. Can you help advise?
Many thanks in advance.
Hi Edward - Looking at the file the slate is 1 frame too long. It ends on 09:59:57:00. This should be the first frame of black. This last frame of the slate should be 09:59:56:24.
If you can make that amendment and re-upload the file should pass QC.
The overall duration of the file should remain the same.
Hi,
Ive used your preset to upload to Peach and it seems to have gone well but I'm receiving an error that the video layout duration is too long (see attached). It's a 30s TVC which currently stands at 50 seconds - 7 seconds clock, 3 seconds blank, 30 seconds ad, 10 seconds end freeze frame. This is the current way when I upload to Clearcast which is accepted but I'm unsure if this is the length Peach accept as it's my first time? Should it be 40s instead for a 30s TVC?
Thanks
Hi Dale,
I'm glad the Peach export preset has been helpful. The UK Peach Spec can be found here...
https://peachme.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406281054609-UK-ROI-Technical-Specifications-XDCAM
We do not require a freeze at the end. Only Slate+Black at the start.
A 30" ad should therefore be 40" in duration - 7"slate, 3"black, 30" Commercial.
I hope that helps.
Hello James,
Thank you very much for the presets. However, I have a recurring problem with some of my exports (but not all): the error message "The average bitrate of the video is 49.43 Mbps." which is lower than the recommended 50 Mbps. Do you have a solution to get rid of this error message? Thanks
