What is an Activator?

On Peach Connect an Activator is the person who will activate your digital campaign. They will usually be a member of an Ad Ops team at a Media Agency, a Brand Manager at an Advertiser or a member of a digital team at a Creative Agency, but you can list any email address to be your activator.

An activator delivery works differently from a direct delivery. Instead of the file going directly to the broadcaster/publisher, it will be delivered to the contact you have nominated in the spec of the broadcaster/publisher that you have chosen.

Activator destinations are listed separately from direct destinations on Peach Connect.

Unlike direct destinations, you will see their logo to the left of their name to help distinguish them.

You will not be able to send to an Activator destination without listing a contact. The system will prompt you for this.

The Activator will receive an email as soon as the file is available. They can log-in the the platform to download the material or they can directly download it from the body of the email itself.
