The CUSV (Codice Unico Spot Video) or Auditel Spot ID is a unique tracking code consisting of 14 alphanumeric characters. When combined with the metadata of each individual video file and its description of characteristics, it follows the advertisement throughout the distribution process to TV broadcasters, linear and addressable platforms, and the web.
The purpose of the CUSV is to enable the measurement of advertising content performance.
The use of CUSV is not mandatory. Advertisers are free to choose whether to use it or not.
CUSV on Peach Connect
In the order form on Peach Connect, there is a specific field where you can enter the code.
The field is named Auditel Spot ID (see below).
How to get the CUSV
To obtain the CUSV, the Client/Advertiser needs to access the Auditel platform called "Auditel Portale Inserzionisti."
If the Client/Advertiser is not already registered, they must register on the Auditel Portale Inserzionisti.
Once registered, they can proceed with the request for the CUSV code.
This is done by entering the main details of the spot and uploading a copy of the file/subject to the portal.
Within a few seconds, the platform generates a code that uniquely identifies the advertising content.
