Issue
The Bit Rate of the file is incorrect.
Description
The Bit Rate is a measurement of the amount of data. Often measured per second. The higher the bit rate, the more information there is to describe either the video or audio and therefore the better the quality. However, a higher bit rate means larger files and processing times. Therefore the highest bit rate is not always preferable.
Peach Connect TV specs require specific bit rates. The files must match these to pass QC.
XDCAM = 50 Mbps
AVC Intra = 100 Mbps
Pro Res = 140 / 205 Mbps
Peach Connect Digital specs accept files within a specific range of bit rates.
MP4 = 10 / 70 Mbps
Please check the Peach Connect File Specifications required for the region and Ad type you are trying to upload.
Fix
Re-export the file from your edit suite using the correct format parameters.
Our Peach Export Guides can help you ensure your settings are correct when exporting files.
XDCAM is inherently a 50 Mbps format, as AVC Intra is inherently 100 Mbps. Often files will fail QC is an XDCAM file has been uploaded into an AVC Intra account and visa versa.
Note
Ensuring you have exported the correct format most often will fix any bit rate related issues.
Additionally, if your file has more than 8 audio channels this will result in a higher bitrate and cause your file to fail QC - always ensure you are following the Peach Connect technical specifications when exporting your master file.
